ProsperPark.com F.A.Q.

Q: How much profit can our organization earn?
A: Our customers have reported record sales and profits with ProsperPark.com due to our large selection of trend setting, quality merchandise and our unique eCatalog email program. ProsperPark.com pays 40% or 45% of the sale of each item to the Organization. The profit is based upon the type of the program you choose (see below). Our goal is to keep the consumer's prices competitive with retail stores in order to increase sales, organization profits and customer satisfaction. Our research has shown that consumers will pay more money for items that they like, they need and will actually use. The average sale per order on ProsperPark.com is $66.00, giving a profit to the organization of $26.40. The average sale in a traditional 50% profit fund raising program is $25.50, giving a profit to the organization of $12.75. You can quickly see the huge profit potential of ProsperPark.com, more than double that of a traditional catalog fundraiser. There is no profit paid on sales tax or shipping charges.
Q: Are there any charges to the organization?
A: There are no charges to the organization. Prosperpark pays for all catalogs, supplies, incentives, payment processing fees and freight for items sent to the school or organization. The end consumer is responsible for freight charges for products and applicable sales taxes.
Q: How does the Organization get paid?
A: ProsperPark.com will mail a check to the official Organization Sponsor at the official address of the Organization. The Organization Sponsor can check the sales and profits by logging in securely to our website. At the end of the first fund raising "campaign", typically 28 days after initial parent letters are sent home, ProsperPark.com will mail a check for profits earned to that point. Then, Prosperpark.com will mail a profit check once a month, when the Organization's profits total $250.00 or more. The organization will earn profit on each order for a 12 month period.
Q: Can Parents track their sales and orders placed by Family, Friends and Neighbors?
A: Yes, parents can log in to their account on the web site and go to the reports page. From there, they can generate reports showing the detail on all orders placed that contains their participant's name as entered at the checkout of each order.
Q: How do parents earn Sales Incentives - Free Gift Certificates?
A: For every $100.00 in total sales from the participant and all orders with the participant's name entered at checkout, the parent/participant will earn a $5.00 gift certificate good for any items in the online store. The gift certificate will be emailed to the address on file in the participant's account. ProsperPark.com pays the cost of these incentives.
Q: What type of programs do you offer and how do I do it?
A: ProsperPark.com suggests two ways of conducting a fund raising campaign:
Program #1: ProsperPark.com will send a customized Parent Letter, a paper Catalog, a Home Delivery Order Form and a money collection envelope to the school for each participant (sales materials). ProsperPark.com will also send out a Fund Raising Campaign Promotional Kit, consisting of wall posters and outdoor driveway signs to help advertise the campaign. Consumers can place orders online or students can take orders on the Home Delivery Order Form. The sponsor collects the order forms and payments at the end of the 2 week campaign and mails all the order forms and payments to ProsperPark in the postage prepaid envelope provided. (ProsperPark.com is not responsible for cash payments, payments to ProsperPark.com should be made by check or money order only.) The sponsor does not have to tally any orders or reconcile any payments. All checks from the parent and end consumers should be made payable to ProserPark.com. ProsperPark.com will enter all orders, reconcile all payments an handle any parent / money collection issues. The organization's total sales and profit will be available on line two - three weeks after the Home Delivery Order Forms are received at ProsperPark.com.
All orders will ship directly to the consumer's home or office. The Organization's profit is 40% of every order excluding sales tax and shipping charges.
The Sponsor will distribute the Sales Supplies to each student and collect the order forms and payments at the end of the sale. The Sponsor should hang the Posters and display the Driveway signs. The sponsor will have to mail the payments and order forms to ProsperPark.com. The Sponsor DOES NOT have to handle the money, tally the orders, meet a delivery truck, handle merchandise problems, distribute incentives or anything else.
For maximum exposure, we strongly recommend holding an assembly for all participants to announce the fund raising campaign, communicate the reason and the goal of the campaign and the show our Student Safety Message video, featuring well know actors and cartoon characters.
Program #2: The Organization Sponsor can download a Parent Letter template from our Download Forms page. The Sponsor can customize his/her own Organization Parent Letter and make copies for each participant. ProsperPark.com will not send any materials. Consumers can place orders online only. The sponsor does not accept any orders, all orders and payments go directly to ProsperPark.com. All orders will ship directly to the consumer's home or office. The Organization's profit is 45% of every order excluding sales tax and shipping charges.
The sponsor has only to complete the Parent Letter, Copy and Distribute to each participant.
